--- Before I talk about Memory and its solitary nature as the TRUE means to enjoying things we consider 'sinful', I first wanted to pose this question before I forget, but dont want to start another condensed thread that keeps growing the more you add water (or people piss on it...) Why dont more women who are in porn, or who were in porn, chime in with outcries against the supposed victimization/abuse that takes place? Seems to me, if all the chicks who choose to do porn were truly getting a terrible deal and meeting terrible fates BECAUSE of porn itself, we'd hear more about that in no uncertain terms...so how bad is it really? Moving right along...

That is a good question, for a number of reasons and from a number of angles. I'm not qualified to speculate on any of them because my perspective as a complete industry outsider coupled with my apparent need to view what I'm watching as abuse that is doing damage to these women would make it patently useless. But I'll speculate anyway: perhaps a network of damage control personel "counselors", perhaps threats, perhaps fear of not getting more work, perhaps that old "what doesn't kill me makes me me stronger" notion, perhaps denial, perhaps the thrill of victimhood under controlled circumstances, perhaps delusions, perhaps all kinds of shit. I don't know. I just watch the shit, jack off, and cry.
