You're confusing two different ethnic groups. The European Jews are Ashkinaz'm, not Hebrews. They are descendants of the Hazars, Russian pagans who adopted Judaism in the 600-700's. They are not the same bloodline as ancient Hebrews and modern day Middle Eastern Jews. Same religion, different ethnicity.
