"I love to see a take off on Midnight Prowlers and turn it into Book Prowlers - they invade college bookstores instead of Adult Video Stores to select their lucky co-stars. I for one think this would be pretty interesting. Nerds, students, professors, librarians, bookstore clerks, etc...
Might do be not able to enter book stores but could do it outside maybe and/or in coffee shops were students study! Could also go to were the professors are officed and they usually have open door when they are in; so there is another approach.

See, now I both agree and disagree with you on this one, james. Clearly, Harry/ADT Watch Guy is well above the 70% threshold for water composition of the typical human brain...but as they say, even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

This idea of Bookstore Prowlers (which really isn't unique...just another version of an already existing flavor) has real potential...We already have "Campus Invasions" by the porn industry taking place at Universities best known for Football and Orgies, but who would really buy/watch these "University of Florida at Okeefenokee, et al" students engaging in debauchery with actual porn stars??? My guess would be (along with the usual porn demographic of 40+ yr old fat bald tech writers and accountants) the brilliant-but-socially challenged people from most decent schools, perhaps even IVY, because they actually, deep down wish that would happen to them. Honestly, if back in 1992, a porn producer began discreetly visiting the COOP or Widener around the Square, asking males if they'd like to bang a semi-hot porn chick, I know there would have been a few takers...of course, it would have lasted about 2 weeks until the Radcliffe Women's Society for Feminine Athletic Cups marched on University Hall, followed by the concerned Parents threatening the University's wine cellar....but TODAY this idea would definitely be big. Nothing is shocking anymore, especially for under 40 people today, and porn is accepted with a lower and lower stigma quotient; of course, there also are enough intelligent-yet-nihilistic people (like me) who really truly dont give a fuck and are bored/jaded enough where few things entertain or hold their interest other than seeking out what may still attract/shock people's sensibilities.

But you are definitely correct in the sense that when this idea is proposed by a houseplant like Harry, one instantly remembers that the clock is in fact stopped....
