Has the makings of a good one. I particularly like the idea of children dining on grass. Wonder if any of the Gardenwebbers will make the connection?!

I'm going to give it a post or two's space before I chime in. Don't want to scare them off too early.

someone should jump in this one and say something really horrible about their method of killing yellowjackets and that it works on guatamelans too

Here it is:

Quote:

Whatever you do DO NOT use any of the commercially available sprays on wasps or yellowjackets. Government troops used essentially the same stuff against the Rebels and Indiginous Peoples during the Guatamalan Civil War. It would be akin to using Zyclon B. Especially if you have a lawncare service. Many of their workers are Guatamalans who fled the carnage and poverty. They can smell that stuff a mile away. The best suggestions above are WD-40 and setting the Darned thing on fire. Best of Luck.

I'm glad you posted that link. The only thing in the world I have a phobia about is wasps. I was stung in the eye by one when I was five and my eye swelled close for a week. I hate the God damned things and incorporate the final solution on them whenever and wherever I can. The only good wasps are the ones curled up in a ball with their legs in the air. Damn things are thicker than Bush protestors in San Francisco out here where I live.

I'm going to have to sign up again this week under another ID. Maybe post a few genuine replies before leaping in with something typically XPT.

My ID is shot there ever since someone linked back to this place. Imagine, even on a garden forum my name is mud.

That's a serious query. They directed me toward the "grass" forum. I will be providing pictures.

Then I guess you can ignore my story about my cousin Kurt, the Labrador and the Gator, huh?

Re: king and ornamental grasses - 04/02/07 07:32 PM

gleaned from a private correspondance i recently had, someone feel free to post lots of marijuana pictures

i'm tempted to start some gardenweb threads on growing weed, do you think that's a good way to end up with the dea knocking on my door? the premise is obviously i'm from CA and have cancer so i'm licensed to grow but the neighborhood children keep stealing large quantities of it from me weekly.

I thought I saw a news headline about medicinal marij. being legal in N.Mexico now. That would be a good angle. Recent laws going your way, what type of person makes the best mule, does anyone know any good routes across the boarder, how many people/weed can I fit into a standard U-Haul etc.

Actually, a garden forum would be the best place to have one's name be mud. Over there it would be considered an advantage.
