The Cage, kill it. Kill it now. Chop chop fuckie dynamite! or something. I don't care how it's done -- pull the plug, change the name, whatever. Just do it. This madness has to stop!

An example of where we're at -- Morbidthoughts is posting convention pics that he took... AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT! The Mia Rose picture thread is a goddamn atrocity too. Hey, Morbid, genius, there’s a particular place to put a thread like that and it’s called “Any fucking place other than the Monkey Cage.”

Unfortunately, dear readers, those are just two of many instances which prove what once was is no more. If I have to explain why that is, you're either new, an imbecile or elgloryhole.

This whole scene is fucking disgraceful. I want to vomit. The only reason I don't is because I can't hit Padova with it from here. Any of the Old Guard or the few newbies with common sense should stop posting in The Cage. Do what you know in your hearts is right. The Monkey deserves better. Maybe, just maybe, the deafening silence that rings through this once-great forum will persuade administration to do the right thing.

whilst it's easy to recall the old days fondly (back when i was a lurker), i agree that xpt now is nowhere near as fun as it used to be. it's now overrun with people i don't like and don't care about; most threads i just scan to find posts by the people i find interesting and ignore the rest.

the worst thing for me is that so many posters think they have to be mean, depraved and misanthropic to post here, even when clearly they are not like that in real life. i guess i need to accept that people who are not industry who want to post on a porn board are most likely boring losers.

having said all that, i'll keep reading and posting, as if anyone cares.

I find most people on this board remarkably boring...including those who are "industry". The few exceptions know who you are . There's rarely anything of substance beyond the endless crucifying of "fanboys", queuing up to pile on the fallen pornslut of the week, and shameless insider asskissing. The whole insipid thing would disgust me, if it wasn't for my morbid fascination with watching the fat kids that didn't go to prom now that they're all grown up, and desperately struggling to keep their place at the cool kid's table.
