The name’s Lubben….Shelley Lubben. And she wants you to pony up $5,000 to her Pink Cross Foundation. You know, for her birthday. I’m serious. Don’t believe me?

Link: http://wishes.causes.com/wishes/285424?bws=fb_stream_card

Now either you fuckers pay up or there’s going to be trouble. BIG trouble. As in, porn stars killing themselves with parties and drugs and the fast life and random sex acts and….and…well, you know….all the other stuff that many young adults go through. Now you…I’m talking to YOU, Poindexter! You felt the same urge to party when you were 20 but you kept it to a minimum. You finished your accounting degree and now you handle accounts payable and receivable at some small business. Forget the fact that you took personal responsibility for your life and chose your own path. You must now give up a donation towards whatever it is Lyin’ Lubben believe cures free will. A lot of people catch it. Now you must stop it. Send money now.

Now, all of you scholarly types will notice that her birthday came and went and she collected a mere 9% of what she was asking for. 9%!! YOU FUCKING CHEAPSKATES! Don’t pretend like you don’t know Lubben takes a whopping 40% of donations and pays them to herself as salary. The last tax return from 2009 showed it. Shame on you, you penurious perverts!

The Devil Wears Prada…but only when you donate.

A friend reminded me that Jim Bakker asked his followers to donate $40 when Tammy Faye Bakker turned 40. How fucking ballsy is that?

Or when Oral Roberts threatened his flock that the "Lord would call me home" unless he raised millions.

Religious grifters...fuck 'em.

I once saw Benny Hinn talk about how God wanted him to wear jewelry that an 80's Columbian cokelord would find gaudy and wear $5000 suits (he was robbed, by the way).

Don't underestimate the power of Faith, brothers. These guys say this stuff with a completely straight face. I think they sincerely believe it. Doesn't make it right, but it is what it is.

You have a friend?

I'd rather send her money than pay for shitty Brendan Irons porno videos. Any thoughts?

You have to have some money before you can send it. Remember that.

And what money do YOU have, Brendan?

I currently receive a monthly check from JM Productions. Some people call this welfare but I prefer to call Jeff my Sugar Daddy.

The important thing is that I hope to match any and all donations made by xxxporntalk.com members to Pink Cross Foundation. Please send them to me first so I can put it all in one envelope to save postage.

I used to have one of those giant satellite dishes and after all the main networks dropped off of it, I could only find creepy religious shows. One channel had this cranky old geezer who would literally just yell at you for money. "I don't want $5!! Or $20!! Pledge $200! Or $2,000 if you want to be saved!!!" I think the old fuck wasn't even alive when I was watching. They were just replaying his old tirades to try to get even more donations. It was actually kind of fun to watch because he would start off talking calmly and then have a vein-bulging outburst out of the blue.

Pastor Gene Scott. His wife at the time of his death was apparently a former pornwhore known as Barbie Bridges. Interesting.

I think it's still at our fishing cabin on a motorized post that swings it E-W to switch satellites. No one in my family could ever figure out how to work it so I'd just leave it set to whatever satellite had HBO. It used to have some great porn channels that you could subscribe to for 24-hours at a time. I think the last thing I watched there was some celebrity porn that had Chuck Berry pissing on some chick in a motel.

Gene Scott was great. We got his show from a Rochester feed when i was in high school. You often couldn't tell what the show was about (racing horse footage, a wind up monkey with cymbals) but i would get high and watch him all the time.

I stumbled across Gene Scott many years ago. He loved his cigars and liked to use profanity. The white boards on his stage were covered with so much writing, you couldn't read anything on them. When he needed a break, he would show endless video of his show horses on his ranch.

My friend and his wife (who also loved the wackiness of Gene Scott) took it to the next level: they actually went to his church service one time to check it out. It was in a renovated downtown Los Angeles movie palace. After hearing their description of the experience, I concluded that it seemed to be a hybrid of a negroid spiritual and a real estate time share sales pitch.

I had a big C band dish too. Loved Gene Scott and early Wally George. You could also watch pre-roll from live news events.

Do any of you remember the Canadian Porn channels on C band? XXXtacy and stuff? I used to see these amazing porn industry live shows with Jonathan Morgan, Terri Wiegel, etc. Morgan would do a panel interview like Johnny Carson and then ask the guests to fuck for him. There was another format show where guys would call in and request positions and stuff. Every now and then you'd get a stroker and one of the hosts would get him off with phone sex. One night there was like 20 PWs doing a lesbian orgy while guys phoned and faxed shit in. Yep, I said faxed.

Circa 1994 or 1995, I did a commercial for the XXXtacy channel in Ottawa. I remember it being really Playboy-ish and softcore with a hot Quebecoise.

Like so many others who have made my acquaintance, we do not keep in touch.

There is a Werner Herzog documentary on Dr. Gene Scott called GOD'S ANGRY MAN.

Melissa Scott is still on TV. When FOX embargoed the World Series from Cablevision users I found her on several odd local "UHF-ish" channels.

Her schtick is to actually get into the texts by translating the text from Hebrew and Aramaic, which I actually respect this method than more mainstream pastors who hang their interpretation and of scriptures and themes of sermons on the poor word choices of bad translations.

Of course, her stuff is all over the place mixing genuine insight with bizarre ramblings.

IIRC, she was wearing a yarmulke, so beside swapping stories of their previous careers in the flesh market, she and Lubben can share waredrobe.
